Study On The Key Techniques For An Inventory & Sale Analysis SystemBased On Data Warehouse

The development of enterprise needs scientific decision. It depends on large numbers of data in the enterprise. How to become these data to be helpful for the information of decision is the one of major problems that enterprise is facing with today. Establishing enterprise decision support system is the best method to solve this problem. In this paper, we have expounded the designing and development of enterprise decision support system, and apply it to manufacture fields.Data warehouse is a kind of architecture foundation. It offers the reliable data of high quality source which is integrated in the enterprise for making decision. In this paper, we have provided a decision support system based on data warehouse according to our practical work. Through establishing data warehouse, enterprise has solved problems that data is inconsistent and spotty, etc. By on-line analytical processing technology, we has analyzed mass history data in the enterprise from multi-angle of view and multi-lay of depth, so as to form the information of enterprise decision. This system has high-pertinence and good-result.The thesis elaborately analyses the characters and developing process of DSS and systematically researches the principles and applications of DW and its analysis tools. On the basis of corporation sales and inventory analysis, the thesis constructs a new Sales & Inventory DSS based on data warehouse, which we call DSS-ISAS and is based on the theory of DSS and data warehouse technology. Furthermore, the thesis has done deep research on the key technologies of Inventory & Sale Decision Support System. Finally, we introduce the application of OLAP on DSS-ISAS.
