With the development of scientific technology, people have learned more in-depth and comprehensive self-knowledge. Because of some limitation of traditional approach to run life science research, scientists have not get any significant improvement in some areas, such as human heart, human brain, human nerve system. However, the development of computer technology has changed this situation and led to further research of human life's essential. In all these technologies, people pay more and more attention in heart modeling, it is not only an effective research approach, but also valuable to clinical practice.In heart modeling field, how to represent the physiological model of cardiac cell plays an essential role, its accuracy directly impacts the performance of heart simulation system. There are two main approaches to represent the physilogical model of cardiac cell, but each approach has certain disadvantage. Models may be represented more rigorously at a mathematical level using mathematical symbols. Mathematical equations provide a precise and high-level meaning of a model. This form is generally accepted as the preferred approach for publicising physilogical models to the wider community. Models may also be represented at an algorithmic level as computer code. This form is a rigorous statement of how a model is to be computed. Mathematical model may, in general, be solved or approximated by a variety of algorithms, and such algorithms may be coded in a variety of computer languages, and the source code is often specific to a particular computer platform, or it is incompatible with other modeling architectures, therefore delaying the integration of a model with others which are represented in another language. Although there are some new approaches gradually introduced to community, none of them has prominent performance all in scalability, compatibility and pertinence.In this dissertation, firstly, cardiac myocytes electrophysiological model is introduced. Through analyzing the feature of current representing approaches of model, using XML to represent cardiac myocytes electrophysiological model in heart modeling is selected, because it can gain better scalability and compatibility.
