Thirdly, it has a profound thought about Modern Times from the aspects of the history of literature and cultural meaning. Modern Times was a complicated case. On one hand, it was a realist with commercial pursuit; on the other hand, it was also an idealist with closeness and van ward spirit. As for its editing thought, both seasonality and paradox could be found. Its flourish was owing to the war, while its declination also connected with the attack of revolution upsurge.
