With the development of science technology, the intellectualized, subminiature and networked measurement instruments symbolized by Networked Virtual Instruments and Smart Detector develops very fast. So the study on Networked Virtual Instruments Technology and Smart Detector Technology is necessary.Appling both Networked Virtual Instruments Technology and Smart Detector Technology to optical radiation measurement, it is a point of innovation. As an application case, the optical radiation measurement system is designed to include three parts: STIM (Smart Transducer Interface Module), Virtual Instrument Control Panel, and communication interface based on USB, or RS232, or SIR (Serial Infrared).STIM integrates traditional detector, analog signal processing circuit, data acquirement circuit and MCU, and contains TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) that provides the key information about smart detector to allow the detector to identify, describe and calibrate itself.Based on the G Language graphical development, the Virtual Instrument Control Panel for optical radiation measurement creates powerful, flexible, well-structured, cost-effective and friendly HMI (Human-Machine Interface) measurement system.The design of the remote optical radiation measurement system applies DataSocket Technology, offering users the ability to remotely monitor the multipoint by remote server.
