Apply WSRP To Enterprise Information Portal In Telecome Enterprise: Research & Implementation

Enterprise Information Portal(EIP) is a integrated platform of enterprise information.It is the exclusive access to various information of the enterprise .By this way, the employee, client and partner can acquire the customized content and service.In order to resovle the problem of "Information Island" ,which is left by the information history of Telecom ,many telecom enterprises are constructing their enterprise information portal.However,the current EIPs based on the integrating data and the interface have many problems,such as the heavy workload,the waste of resourse ,etc.So,for resolving these problems, this paper provides a new project for building EIS based on the Web Services for Remote Portlets(WSRP),and analyses the advanced points and applicable scope . WSRP are presentation-oriented, interactive web services .WSRP is the technical base of resolving these problems.The thesis analyses the actuality that telecom enterprise construct information enterpise. Combined with the practice of China Unicom UBISP project, we analyze the disadvantage of constructing EIP.Next the project of constructing EIP using WSRP are put forward. Then ,we discuss to implement some crucial technical in this project. Lastly, we conclude on the content of the thesis and give some suggestions for future improvement.
