Analysis And Design Of GIS-based Information Management System For Telecommunication's Broadband Clients

Geographic information system (GIS), being spatial information technique, is a kind of computer system used in collection, storage, management, analysis, display as well as spatial information and also is the general technique in the analysis and processing of large spatial data. With the rapid development in the last 30 years, GIS has been extensively applied in many fields.We firstly discuss the development of GIS software system, the facing challenge of the traditional GIS as well as the state and trend of ComGIS, and then expatiate theComponent GIS, data warehouse and the combination of the related techniques. As the key point, the application of the above techniques in the special GIS of the current telecommunication operation is analysed.
