Network simulation is one of the most popular methods to validate the protocols as well as to do the performance evaluation.NS is a free and open-sourced simulation software used in the area of network protocols. Researchers can do the research in the field of network techniques easily with it. With the continuously amelioration of these years, it becomes the most popular network simulation software now. However, many large scale simulations have to be carried out in some cases. The stand-alone NS simulation platform can not keep up with the pace of the requirement. Thus we need a new system with powerful process ability to meet this high performance computing requirement.The cluster technique comes into use after the main computer technology turning from the host computer-centered to the network-centered. The cluster enhances the retractility and usability of the system as well as cuts down the cost of the system. So cluster becomes the focus in the High Performance Computing area. However we also need a software system to manage the workstations in the cluster. Thus the Cluster Job Management System appears and is developed rapidly.
