Multichannel Signals Acquisition System Base On PCI Bus

PCI bus is a high-performance local bus of computer, provided with high-speed'data transmission. It is well fit for high speed data acquisition. This dissertation discussed the design and implementation of multichannel signals acquisition system base on PCI bus, mainly included multichannel signals acquisition card, interface with DSP real-time processing module, driver program and application program.Firstly, this dissertation introduced the performance and characteristic of PCI bus pertinently. Then encircle with PCI9054, PCI bus interface controller of PLX Company, this dissertation presented the hardware system design scheme, and respectively discussed the modules, including the Analog Signal Channel, the A/D, FIFO Memory, Logical Control, PCI Interface and DSP real-time processing Module. Secondly this dissertation introduced the ABC and universal process of develop PCI device driver program, and some fashionable development tools. Lastly, this dissertation discussed the design and implementation of software system, included driver program and user application program, with WinDriver.This dissertation discussed how to take full advantage of excellent performance of PCI bus from hardware design and software, and presented research result and conclusion. The high performance of this system make it has huge market benefit and will be used broadly.
