Based on the due discussion about the development and the application of the infrared radiation thermometry in our country and abroad, the paper give a due discussion on the formulas of the temperature calculating of a target surface and the accuracy of thermometric and all sorts of influence factor. The concrete content of every chapter is summarized as following:In the chapter 1: the development of radiation thermometry and the thermal imager has been reviewed and the problems were analyzed from technique degree. And it introduced the main objects and study situation.In the chapter 2: Based on the theory of infrared radiation and the principles of temperature measurement, contacting with the working principle of thermal imager, the author analysis its main performance parameters and the precautions.In the chapter 3: According to the analysis of the infrared thermal imager receiving the energy from the radiation, the author presents a formulas of the temperature calculating of a target surface and the error formulas and gives typical examples error formulas estimate curve.In the chapter 4: Contacting with the formulas of error calculation analysis, the author analysis the main influence factors, and proposes a solution to diminish errors. And it also presents a process to reduce the error. An experimentation has been done for testing the emissivity and the relationship between the distance and the measuring accuracy. The author contrasts the theory curves with the experiment curves.It is the summary to the whole paper at the last part..
