In this text,the principles and characteristics of various radiation thermometries are introduced,and also the operation principle,components and technical parameters of the thermal imaging system.The development of radiation thermometry and the thermal imager has been reviewed and the problems were analyzed from technique degree. And it introduced the main objects and study situation. According to the analysis of the infrared thermal imager receiving the energy from the radiation, the author presents a formulas of the temperature calculating of a target surface and the error formulas.It can be seen that its main performance parameters and the precautions. Based on the theory of infrared radiation and of the infrared themography,The factors which affect the error of temperature measurement can be obtained.An experimentation has been done for testing the emissivity and the relationship between the distance and the measuring accuracy. The author contrasts the theory curves with the experiment curves.We can see that the error of temperature measurement from the other factors is not be ignored.It is the summary to the whole paper at the last part..
