Digital image parallel process optimization not only accelerate the image process, but also can bring down the cost of process, satisfy real time requirement and raise cost performance on the embedded parallel system. Most of parallel process and parallel image process are generally completed on the specific parallel system.because its architecture different from the architecture of multiprocessor, the embedded parallel system has two bottlenecks: one is the limited local memory capability of PE, the other is the limited I/O bandwidth and the limited bandwith between PE..in order to improve the program in the embedded parallel system,this dissertation researches the embedded system, various paralles designing principle and varios image process method in the "image undstand" program,theoretically analyse various parallel designing method of image process in the "mage undstand", put forward the most adaptive parallel method for the embedded system, moreover realize this parallel method and validate this method.This dissertation introduce the character of the embedded system,the principle of various parallel designing method for the fist.then introduce some algorithm of image process in the "image undstand". the last is to realize the parallel algorithm of image process, optimizes the algorithm and gives the theory analysis on this embedded parallel system.
