Generation system for scenario of joint warfare simulation is one important part of joint warfare simulation system. Significance for research the technology in joint modeling and generation for warfare simulation scenario is show as follows. It can improve the translatability and reuse of the scenario and model for warfare simulation. It can also advance unifying the interface of the warfare simulation system and neatly configuring the simulation execution. It can increase the efficiency of the scenario generation and reduce the build cycle. All the work in this paper put on around the problem of how to build unified scenario model for joint warfare simulation and program efficient system for scenarios generation. The following is the main contribution and primary research production in this paper.Scenario for joint warfare simulation has been divided into several parts includes synthetic warfare environment, warfare units, warfare task plan, and parameters for simulation execution. Then, build models for each part of the scenario. In allusion to the characteristic of warfare units, model of warfare units were build accord with requirement of the joint warfare simulation, this model is capable of represent the warfare units data at any level and scale. This paper bring forward unified space model based on the variety of warfare space in synthetic warfare environment, achieve consistency expression of all kinds of warfare space. Due to the flexibility of simulation scale and granularity in joint warfare simulation, the key sub-model—Unified Task Plan Model, UTPM is carried out. This model adapts the variety of simulation scale and granularity, realized recursion, synchronization and simultaneity. Task plan chart of warfare provide blue print for visualized generation of warfare task plan. Adopt XML specification build up SML the markup language prototype for the unified scenario model, this paper use SML as its solution for the standardization of scenario data. Finally, bring forward the whole scenario model of joint warfare stimulation.The WarEditor, a software system of scenario generation for joint warfare simulation has been designed and implemented based on above-mentioned model. This system contains mainframe of scenario generation, warfare model manager and military maker manager. Primary work consists of the following parts.
