Wireless Sensor Networks is a new rising integration of sensor detecting, wireless communication, embedded process and some other scientific technology. In military, the rapid deployment, self-organization, and fault tolerance characteristics of sensor networks make them a very promising sensing technique for military command, control, communications, computing, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting (C4ISRT) systems. Recent advances in wireless communications and electronics have enabled the development of low energy cost, multifunctional sensor nodes that are small in size and communicate in short distances. These sensor nodes represent a significant improvement over traditional sensors. Wireless Sensor Networks is the trending of sensor development. Research of this paper is based on the project of micro-sensor reconnaissance in the battlefield. The main task is to accomplish the designment of Wireless Sensor Network Experiment System through the study on Wireless Sensor Networks.This article firstly expatiates the Wireless Sensor Networks'definition, system architecture, framework layer and protocol stack. The open research issues and projects are also pointed out in this field. Then, Wireless Sensor Network Experiment System design draft is shown in the paper, which includes sensor node constitution, base station communication mode, shape of the meshwork topology,control center software and so on. Key technology such as micro digital sensor operating, low energy cost protocol, loop differential antenna,RF(radio frequency) communication are discussed in the paper. At last, this paper details the Wireless Sensor Network Experiment System construction and software scheme.Through experiment the Wireless Sensor Network Experiment System shows high quantity in meshwork link and data collection. The research of this paper accumulates much experience for next work.
