The Design And Implementation Of Simultaneous Communication System For Voice And Data Based On VxWorks

Recently the development of embedded system has become a hot topic. It means the computer system who is integrated in the industrial system , weapon system, electromechanical instrument and electronic consumption product completes one or more particular functions and is the combination of software and hardware. With the constant development of electronic technology and computer technology, embedded software and hardware develop rapidly, whose products have the characteristics with low costs, high dependability, small volume. So embedded application of technology has been used extremely widely.This paper uses the simultaneous communication system for voice and data as one of the important applications under the background, regards the wired network project of Lianchuang company as the reliance and develop a set of remoted simultaneous communication apparatus for voice and data used for the special fields such as mine and battlefield which need to receive and dispatch relevant data while commanding and reporting. It regards MPC860 PowerQUICC and VxWorks as the hardware and software platform. MPC860 integrates microprocessor and some peripheral groupware of control field within it and is especially suitable for the communication products. The application software development requires not only steady hardware device, but the support of good performance OS. VxWorks is a good performance OS and supports PowerPC suitably. And its BSP offers the interface of the basic hardware for VxWorks.From the superficial to the deep,this paper starts to analyze from basic principle and technology, then expatiates the operation system program, finally realizes the combination of data and voice and develops the BSP of MPC860 and its application software . At last this paper carries on the forecast and the summary to the future of VxWorks application prospects.
