With the rapid development and application in electronic measurement technology and instruments of micro-electronics technology, computer technology, software technology and network technology, new measurement and control theory, new measurement method, new measurement fields and new instrument architecture continually come forth and the function and effect of electronic instruments have given birth to quality change and broken through in the conception of instrument in many aspects. Graphical computer language had been developed at the end of 1980s in this background.As the G Language graphical development tool for implementing Virtual Instrumentation (VI), LabVIEW has been one of the most popular solution for creating powerful, flexible, well-structured, cost-effective and friendly HMI (Human-Machine Interface) measurement & controlling system. But, most current LabVIEW applications are run in single PC and just as a Virtual Instrumentation without making use of its advantages.Multi-task real-time measurement and control system is introduced in this academic dissertation.The system, which consists of a measure computer and a control computer, is established by the use of distributed control structure. The computers carry out the tasks of friendly human-machine interface, easy data acquisition and stable measures of dealing troubles on LabVIEW platform. This real-time system includes measurement and control of analogs, digitals, temperature, DC motor and stepping motor.Then, based on priorities setting and execution systems selection, and by means of fixed time interval schedule and event driven, a two-level multi-task scheduling based on LabVIEW for a measurement and control system is presented. These advanced technologies are employed to enhance the performance of measurement and control system.
