To meet the electric power system voltage power grows and power grid structure of the increasing complexity of the requirements of computer protection, in view of the current computer protection software smaller, single function, less intelligent, mostly written in assembly language using a linear process, this paper proposes a new design ideas about computer protection software platform, adopt stratified, abstract thinking, using embedded real-time multi-tasking operating systems and OXF application framework to build a new computer protection software platform.First, the paper analysises and illuminates system architecture on computer protection software platform.Then, in order to make computer protect software platform to facilitate transplantation, the concept of embedded operating system is abstracted. And the operating system layer is established.OXF is the foundation of the construction of computer protect software platform. Based on careful study of OXF framework, We have detailly designed and implemented the content of OXF. And have given a example to analysis its event-driven mechanism.Memory manage system, document manage system and database is the support module of computer protect software platform. Protection communications module exchanges data with the protection and monitoring software module. The API layer provides a complete data and functional interfaces for the application layer module. application layer module is the module which Computer Protection Devices provide functions for external application. The paper discusses the design and inpletement of these modules in detail.Now, computer protect software platform has been successfully applied to DF3600 high voltage relay protection systems.The strong function, flexible configuration, reusability of application module, portability of the rock-bottom Etc. about the software platform have been fully verified. And it has produced a certain degree of economic and social benefits in the period of the operation of the high-voltage protection system.
