Research On Development And Application Technologies Of Intelligent Sensor Based On CAN Bus

With the rapid development of the modern industry,industrial process control has set new and high requirement for the collection,transmission,data exchange, precision and reliability of the mass field signals. Based on the fieldbus technology and microprocessor, the intelligent sensor has remarkable advantages and broad prospect of application over the ordinary sensor. So the purpose of this paper is to pursue an effective and feasible way to combine the CAN bus technology in the fieldbus and sensor together with the OPC technology to satisfy the requirement of real-time low level data collection and transmission in industrial control, and also guarantee the real-time and the reliability of the data.Firstly,the fieldbus and the intelligent sensor technology are introduced briefly. Then,the CAN bus technology is elaborated and the characters and the structures of the CAN bus are analyzed. Besides,the OPC technology based on the COM/DCOM is studied and the related specifications and the integration with the CAN bus of OPC are introduced. Finally,the realization structure of the intelligent sensor is presented. Based on the study of the CAN bus technology,the intelligent temperature measuring node based on CAN bus is designed,and its key technologies and realization methods of software and hardware are introduced in detail.Through the practical application in the SFZW800 control system of jetting shape project, the effectiveness of the functions of the self-designed intelligent temperature sensor based on CAN bus and its real-time and reliability of the data collection are verified.Finally,this paper concludes what have been done and makes some suggestions on what needs further study.
