Application Of PI Real-time Database In Power Plant

To improve the economic profit of the enterprise, a power plant must make full advantage of advanced information technology to improve its management standard. Therefore the credible, exact production process and real time data become the core and basis of the entire enterprise information system. This paper researches the advantage of the PI real-time database system in power plant application and production control system, and designs the net configuration of the PI system, realizes the secure connection between PI system and the production control system. Collect the real-time data and optimize through organizing the production data in the reasonable and effective way, and implement the secondary exploitation and application based on the data collection, for example: probe into the PI data primordially in production monitor and reporting system and so on, which promote the level of the management of the electric power system.
