The Research And Practice Of Seach Engine Based On RDF

With the swift and violent development of Internet, It is impossible to manage the billions of web pages by hand. Yet, the page based on HTML is just for intercourse among people, it can be read by machine but can't be understood by machine. For managing and using all sorts of information and resource on web, W3C propose a plan of semantic web: building an Internet which pages can be understood by machine, letting program manage the Internet. The RDF (Resource Description Framework) is the base of building semantic web.This paper is composed by three main parts: In first part we introduce in detail XML 1.0 Syntax Specification, RDF Model and Syntax Specification and RDF Vocabulary Description Language 1.0:RDF Schema. The RDF model, the RDF XML code grammar and RDF the Schema extension mechanism are made the thorough discussion, After that is the description about the application field of RDF: semantic searching, agent, content catalogue etc. In the second part, we put forward a new construction of search engine based on the reference of traditional search engine, and make the thorough discussion of the design and algorithm of its each part. The third part we introduced in detail the partial detailed designs and the algorithm of Search Engine, such as Info Agent, DB Manager, Server.
