Research Of Intelligent Search Engine Based On Semantic Web

As the arrival of information age, the World Wide Web(WWW) has become an important source of information in our daily life. As the coverage of network expands gradually, people would like to gain information as fast as possible. They also demand that the search engine can provide a more professional and personalized web service. An ontology which is a technology of knowledge representation has a perfect concept hierarchy and good logic reasoning ability. In recent years, people concern more on the usage of ontology in search engine to create a more intelligent search and solve the above problem. An ontology-based search engine which can better understand the need of users can provide us a more accurate classification and a more intellectual net service.In this paper, the current situation of search engine home and abroad was first introduced. We also introduce the basic functions and principles of semantic crawler. We focuse on the search strategy of current semantic crawlers and analyse the disadvantages of them. We then propose a semantic expansion algorithm based on the construction of ontology in food domain. We first do some preprocessing of the web pages and make use of the parsing results of food ontology to generate crawling rules. Thanks to the new technology, we not only can get a better precision and recall, we also can do some semantic reasoning on the web pages.
