The dangerous chemical gas cylinders which have many categories are always flammable, explosive, poisonous, erosive, and so on. They threaten the safety of our towns, rivers and people. So it is very important to manage, store and transport them safely. The research and development on key technologies of monitoring and management in dangerous chemical gas cylinders is a part of the public safety information service platform which is supported by the project of"2006 ShangHai Government Substaintial Projects"and"RDIF & System for Million Gas Cylinders Monitoring and Management". This article firstly analyzes the present status and regulations about dangerous chemical charge industry. The technologies of RFID, mobile compute and information protection are applied in dangerous chemical gas cylinders to improve the safety and efficiency of management. Then an RFID data criterion based on the dangerous chemical gas cylinders management, store and transport city road information is proposed to identify and store the information of the cylinders. Also, in order to protect the information stored in the RFID chip, an algorithm based on SAM card and symmetrical key algorithm system is proposed. Finally, the main functions of the components and implement methods of the monitoring and management systems for dangerous chemical gas cylinders are analyzed in detail.
