There are more than fifty kinds of network enterprise applications in Tuha Oilfield, and each of them has its own mechanism of authentication and authorization. Administrators need to manage many accounts of these applications, while users have to remember lots of accounts, especially passwords .With the amount of application increasingly, it is more and more complicated for users to manage and use these enterprise applications. So, it is urgently to develop single sign on (SSO) system for Tuha Oilfield which can manage and access the enterprise applications effectively. Such kind of SSO for Tuha Oilfield is based on B/S and can integrate the traditional C/S applications (including Window, Ftp and Telnet applications)and Web applications. That means an user can invoke all the enterprise applications (which the user has right to access) from the webpage after his one single sign on web, then the manageability and availability of the enterprise applications are improved by SSO. The entire system is composed of several subsystems such as the console, the application access based on web, the passwords synchronization, user's information synchronization, the new application interface and the private application management. In this SSO system, Oracle9i is to store the properties and the correlative user account data of the enterprise applications and etc. Active Directory is adopted to manage the information of users. Visual Stdio.NET is the development tool. The author's main work in this paper is to design and implement the subsystem...
