With increasing requirements of electronic equipment and introduction of various powerful microprocessors, single chip system has gradually been an indispensable part of lots of electronic equipment and has been in the unprecedented stage of development. Furthermore, the concept of internet is well-known, which requires the combination of single chip system and internet. The above is the situation in which the subject is put forward. At the same time, the subject is connected to a practical development project: flow inspection system of Dalian Water Supply Company.The scheme of embedded Internet in the subject aims at single chip system with 51-processor. Those systems are widely applied in the fields of industry control, communication facilities and home appliance, etc. After those facilities are linked to internet, some functions will be realized, such as remote control, management and update, etc. The previous single and isolated mode is changed into the open and interlinked one. Single chip system linked to internet brings out not only economic benefits but also profound social benefits.The article firstly introduces research background and theoretic foundation, and studies port ofμC/OS-Ⅱembedded real-time operation system on 51 enhanced processor- DS89C550 and then discusses the principles and methods in the process of port. Meanwhile, it deals with the programming of 10M Ethernet (RTL8019AS controller) and device driver of embedded Modem module. What's more, it mentions design and realization of embedded TCP/IP protocol, including Ethernet, PPP, ARP, IP, UDP and TCP protocol. Finally, it expatiates upon design and realization of Embedded Web Server and analyzes some improvement as reference of future research.
