The Research Of Using Ant Colony Algorithm In Web Mining

The web mining techniques were analyzed and discussed systematically, integrally in this paper, and then the progress of clustering and classification in web mining was summarized. Combined with the ACO algorithm, a clustering algorithm based on ant "colonial closure" was applied to web page clustering of web usage mining, moreover, a classification algorithm based on "ant search for food" was used in the processing of web page classification in web content mining. The result show that, Contrast to traditional method, the clustering and classification algorithm based on ant habit have certain comparative advantages in web mining.Four stage designated as data processing, pattern discovery, pattern analysis and the application of pattern were first addressed in detail, then the advantage and shortcoming of existing clustering and classification techniques in web mining were estimated.
