With the development of the net technology and the computer technology,the computer has developed from the two-dimensional plane space to the three-dimensional solid space.People have payed more attentions to three-dimensional graphics and images processing technologies . In this paper, summaried to the existed question that it's hard to students in the middle schools to comprehend the solid geometry, by mutual way after comparing several graphic tools, we used Java 3D technology and developed one simple, effective solid geometry system in applications which used orieted-object way.This system can help the students to build the real third dimension. A design tool as the system is, it can not merely improve teachers' teaching quality, can also improve the efficiency and interests of students, and get twice the result with half the effort. So it has great actual meaning.What this paper finished mainly work as follows: Many simple geometries such as box,cone,cylinder have been built used shape3D classes and utility packages and added light,appearance,background and coordinate transform to it. Viewplat-forms have been used to construct different viewpoints to observe the interior structures of the geometries ;the display of the clipping of the geometry has been implemented used model clip class to look into the clipping plane and the interior structure;in order to see many kinds of complex geometries over,we used the display function of the simple geometry in Java 3D to show the complex geometries.
