Controller Area Network(CAN), which is a type of serial communication protocol, was developed for vehicle by the Robert Bosch Company of German in 1980s. It has been adopted abroad and has great potential because of its beauty of structuring network and communication capability. The common ground of its application is that CAN operates as a distributed computer LAN.This thesis designed and carried out Vehicle Supervising Simulation System Based on CAN Bus. The task about this simulation system, which was based on CAN 2.0A/B, the need of manufacturer and the specific of real vehicle, was composed of software and hardware. Furthermore, this paper analyzed the mechanism of the control method of CAN bus and data collected from real vehicle by this system. This system could control some action of the real vehicle.This system has past following tests: system test, stability and reliability test, CANOE test and test of several kinds of CAN bus of real vehicle. The pass of these tests proved that this system could work rightly and had favorable flexibility, reliability, and stability.The research of application of CAN bus in vehicle began recently in China. The success of this simulation system was good for application of CAN bus. Because of the reason mentioned above, this thesis was worth of being researched and had favorable economic outlook.
