Flexible Enterprise Information System With Configurability Of Business Processes And Forms

As one of the advanced and active productivities, information technology has become the basis of social economy. Management information system (MIS) is an important platform for enterprise to implement informational construction, so it must provide the ability to adapt to the dynamic exchanges.Analyzed the developing situation of MIS and probed into the flexibility problem we discuss a MIS project which can more easily adapt the developing of enterprise through the researching of processes management technology and software technology. Firstly, according to the situation of enterprise, this paper analyses the framework of the system in flexible MIS with taking theories of object-oriented and process-oriented. There are three modules which include user interface layer, business service layer and data layer.Secondly, on the base of this framework, this paper research and designs the visual process definition tool, form definition tool and the core of flexible MIS----flow control engine. The visual definition tool can depict the operation process of enterprise as model in computer, which is used by flow control engine. On the contrary, the engine which bases on the workflow theory, can manipulate the process running by parsing the process definition.Finally, based on the flexible MIS model, the paper build a meta model and present a representative stocking process and analyze it, expound and prove the validity and flexibility of system.
