A Design & Implement Of Authentication & Accounting VoIP Systems Based On Prepay Mode

With the rapid development of Internet and IP technology, VolP technology, based on IP, is being becoming the focus of applications of Internet. Various VoIP products have been injected into markets and are changing people's life-style. H.323, one of the most important VOIP protocols, has been nearly supported by all of Vole manufacturers, and has a mass of loyal users. The most advantage of H.323 is its maturity, and highest market share. With the development of VoIP technology, H.323 is becoming more mature and sturdy, and showing a strong vitality. H.323 will continue to be the defacto VoIP standard for a long time.As an important business application, a VoIP Authentication and Billing System will be an urgent demand for telecom carriers, which with comprehensive and real-time billing service, flexible and changeful account policy, strong and abundant operation capability.In this thesis, we discuss a project, it aims to design and implement a authentication and accounting system based under the H.323. The system includes Radius module and administering module. It supports multi GK administration, authentices user's request, supports flexible account policy and statistics. This system provides the basic functions that be defined by H.323 and simple and convenient operating and management functions, so it makes good winning after entering market.The author writes this article based on the project, first he introduces the architecture, protocol's stack, functions of main modules and typical call procedure of H.323, then introduces system design and implement, including Radius module architecture design, software's architecture design, and administering module architecture design and implement, as well as introducing the functions of software modules. Latest, introduces the tests. Eventually, the author makes a summary and puts forward some advanced ideas for it.
