The Design And Implementation Of Workflow-Based Academic Management System

In the age of stinging competition, office automation (OA) system becomes a tool to promote operation efficiency for the enterprise that wants to maintain powerful competitiveness. Current age with office automation system even more populated how to further promote office efficiency becomes the focus. Under such circumstances, workflow technology jumps on the stage.With workflow technology, OA system developer analyzes the business process, makes model of them, and integrates business flow and transaction processing system, to make implementation more fast.This paper introduces the background and current development status of workflow technology firstly, the basic theory of workflow, system architecture and interfaces between each part, the SHARK engine characteristics, architecture and main application programming interfaces used in this project .Finally, this paper introduces requirement analyzing, design and implementation and database design, especially main components of this workflow project.
