With the developing of the embedded systems in application, it becomes necessary to connect the embedded systems into the Internet, that also one of the focus in research of embedded system in application field. This paper design a tiny TCP/IP stacks suitable for embedded systems with the widely used MCS-51 series MCU as its CPU, which makes the low-cost embedded systems access the Internet come true. Meanwhile, a remote-supervise device has been complete designed using this low-cost embedded system. It is a integrated, flexible and good expandability device that can be used in various non-person machine room. So remote supervise realized its communication by Network. The main part of this device is the Network Communication Module. It's designed on the hardware platform of 51 series MCU, and run a program including a tiny TCP/IP stacks written by author. The function of this module is to transmit alarm data of the machines in machine room through the Internet by the network control chip RTL8019AS, which interfaces between the MCU and Network. Moreover , the front part of the device have two modules. One is the Converge Module, in which an asynchronous communications element called TL16C554 has been used to converge four data-torrent into one or reverse process . Here, the CPU is also the 51 series MCU called WinBond 77E58. It controlled the TL16C554, carried out a self-defined protocol and accomplished its task. The other module is Collection Data Module, which has the function of collection supervise data. And it interface the Converge Module by RS-232. The whole device work steadily, and transmit data reliably, all which made it have a certain value in application.
