Research On Quick Reconfiguration Of Manufacturing Resources

Reconfigurable manufacturing pattern is becoming a pop topic in China and foreign countries in recent years. But there is no efficient method to adjust the existing reconfigurable manufacturing system quickly while the environment is changed. Based on the project of National Key Laboratory Foundation, the paper deals with the theory, techniques and approaches on quick reconfiguration of manufacturing resources.At first the paper discusses the feasible of quick reconfiguration of manufacturing resources theoretically. Then it compares and researches the modeling method which is adapted to manufacturing system. Based on these, an integrated modeling method UML-OOPN which integrates Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Petri net is chose to model quick reconfiguration of manufacturing system. At last, resources choice and equipment reconfiguration is studied using Petri net technique and algorithm arithmetic to optimize manufacturing process.
