Research And Implementation On Online Health Insurance System Based On Workflow

Workflow is first introduced for normal activities with regular process at work. By decomposing work activity into well-defined tasks, roles, rules and processes, we can implement and monitor the work with the help of automated workflow management system, and finally improve production organization and work efficiency. The implementation of workflow provides a much more advanced method for enterprises to better achieve their business goals, and it is also good to improve customers' satisfactory and users'efficiency.As an advanced technology for improving the automation of a system, Workflow technology has become an indispensable part in schema of enterprise informatization construction. This paper uses eHealthInsurance, a software system based on J2EE, as a prototype, analyzing the implementation of workflow technology in the development process and business process with Rapid Application Development and Business Process Reengineering. It shows the whole implementation process of how workflow technology been integrated into the business reengineering and software development of eHealthInsurance with Backoffice system and DevTrack– a project management software based on workflow.In the end, this paper introduces an instance of business development management and that of business process management of eHealthInsurance based on workflow technology, summarizes the characteristics of workflow technology, and presents the new management method - Business Process Continuous Improvements, which can be used for continuously improving current system.
