With the rapid popularization of Internet, E-mail has become the mostimportant method of communication for its convenience and low cost. But E-mail system has its own defect which gives spam a chance to use. The word"Spam" as applied to Email means Unsolicited Bulk E-mail (UBE) . UBEgreatly affects people in the use of Internet. Anti-spam techinque just solve this problem.After years the technique of anti-spam has four enbranchments which are Filtering, Validate Query, Challenge and Encryption. Now most of Anti-spam products mix these techniques. The used antispam techinque aim at the single machine or individual, the antispam resources cannot be share, theresource includes the blacklist, and IP address of mail server, filter rules, aswell as learned knowledge of bayes algorithm. The memory and compute capability of the computer system are antispam resoures too. The point of gridtechinque is resource shareing and cooperative working, so it will make up theinsufficiency of the present antispam technique. Service grid is the grid emphasized on service. It integrates the separate resource into grid service and offers the accordant interface to access resource. Service grid manage theregistation , allocation and other operations. It provide dynamic services, andcan adapt the dynamic environment. So the research and application on grid service in the antispam field have very strong theory and practice significance.In this paper, the basic concept of E-mail system and all kinds of anti-spam technique are introduced firstly. Then through studing service grid system, the paper will try to design an distributed anti-spam system using the ability of resource sharing and heteromerous of grid, and will realize some functions. The system which centralize the resource of servers in the GT container can filter spam in the whole of network which make the ability of anti-spam better.
