The artillery radar is mainly used to do aim reconnaissance and calibration, it has the features of long-distance, high-precision, all-weather, quickly-reaction, so it is a very important way for our army in reconnaissance. But, it belongs to high-technology and is very expensive, and that makes it difficult and complicated to operate and maintain. Now we adopt computer imitation technology, reduce the loss and lower the training expense.Firstly, the paper focused on the modeling method of some classic sceneries, such as terrain, aircraft, sky, plants and so on. And the modeling method in real time and third dimension of various sceneries is introduced. The paper selects the modeling and predigesting method of various sceneries combined with various technologies of OpenGL, and the simplicity of drawing method is proposed by combine the method of displaying list, terrain segmentation and vertex removing, which fulfilled the real-timed is play of a great scale terrain. Then, a method for simulating real - time rain or snow in a big scene is presented in this paper based on OpenGL after analyzing the realizing principle of particle system, and builds living visualization scene. Secondly, the theory and technology background are introduced on modeling and simulating the system console panel by way of operated object. Then the object-oriented model is used to analyze and model the console panel. And according to the result of requirement analysis, the panel is abstracted realized and assembled based on component. and organic integrating these controls as a whole according to the inherent relation of these function modules. Besides, the computer simulation for radar scanning, the storage for the fighting goal track, drawing about the goal site scene as well as other affiliated function modules are analyzed in the paper. The paper realized the foundational function of the fire-controlled radar operators training simulation system.The operator can get to know the location of units and how to use them, can understand the working styles of the equipment, and can develop basic operation training, and can observe goal site scene on the simulation training platform preliminarily.
