With the rapid development of radar technology, the conventional radar system simulation due to the poor scalability and reusability can’t meet the requirements of various radar simulation. Using component-based technology to develop high reusability and scalability universal radar simulation system has become an urgent requirement. This paper combine component technology and the idea of design patterns applied to the field of radar simulation system, the key technologies and design methods in design mode component radar simulation system is constructed based on, application and design of radar simulation system to single pulse radar is tested and verified. The main work is as follows:(1) Researched design interface design methods and component interaction model components. First, in order to simplify the analysis of radar simulation system it is proposed to build a hierarchical model application system of thought. To further enhance the system reusability of application components to hierarchical thinking mode radar system to build a hierarchy based on components of the radar simulation system. On the basis of the components of the main components of an interactive communication method that is designed component interface has been studied, it proposed to combine UML component interface design methods and design examples. For the study design process component interaction model proposed by the interactions between the components and the interaction matrix interface matrix to describe, in order to achieve interaction with the component separation assembly structure, enhance the efficiency of the module assembly.(2) Thought paper, optimization component design pattern interior design to support reusability and extensibility components, and give the radar signal processing component as an example to show the design progress. It analyzes the functional requirements of the radar signal processing components, from the internal components will be divided into processing class, interaction class and communication class. Then we focus on the processing class as an example to improve application specific design pattern has been described. To meet the different types of signal processing components for radar signal processing algorithms call flow different suitability requirements, the builder mode has been improved and applied to design the components; on the same radar processing chain can choose a variety of problems algorithm, abstract factory –strategy pattern has been proposed to improve strategies family, from the code level to enhance the reusability of components. Finally, the effect of the application of the improved patterns are analyzed.(3) Using component-based design methods, the radar system simulation, radar simulation system designed and applied to a single pulse radar has been tested. First, by a hierarchical structure of disengagement from the system level simulation system out of the system components, combined with Rose and VC ++ for each component is designed to achieve. Then the radar simulation system is applied to a single pulse radar validated test by modeling the system after scene settings, the system implements the detection of single objective and multi-targeted display process, and be able to target parameters in real-time display, after data processing and analysis can be achieved on target tracking. Finally, the performance of the designed radar simulation system is analyzed, proven component-based radar system design simulation model has better superiority.
