Image based modeling is a new technique in the 3D models of real scenes from images. This paper has studied three dimensional modeling technology for architecture based on image, including panorama splicing and geometry reconstruction based on single image.In this paper, a new arithmetic of cylindrical panoramic in IBR technique is brought out, and produce the cylindrical panorama through stitching sequence image automatically. It has been confirmed in practice . It completes the image mosaic with taking and registering the featured regions in the overlap range of two images. The experiments prove that the speed of mosaic increases largely and the effect of mosaic is excellent with this arithmetic. It is a rapid and applied arithmetic of cylindrical panoramic image mosaic.The geometric constraints, which called parallel line structure, are studied in this paper. A algorithm for camera self-calibration is proposed by using the constraints of these structures. If know a point, a plane is determined after the camera calibration. This plane is the base plane. Spatial point can be obtained by the line and the base plane junction, then obtain each plane one by one. The algorithm has succeed in reconstructing the unit that drew by OpenGL.
