In this paper, the most research work focused on the intelligent design technology for the manufacture process of HB-LED (High Brightness Light Emitting Diode) chip. Through analyzing and researching the character of manufacture process, a architecture of intelligent design system for the manufacture process of HB-LED chip was proposed. How to construct and develop a intelligent system were been studied in this thesis. The method of reasoning' s strategy and how to carry out it were also been discussed. Focused on the demand of manufacture process, a intelligent designing system of HB-LED process have been developed. The system offer all the functions that processor can manager the knowledge of LED process and query the parameter or rule of process. Otherwise, the operator can input some manufacturing parameter and then reasoning a best process case through the system. The main work of this paper contained:1) It analyzed the researching significance of intelligent design for the manufacture process of the HB-LED chip. For its complex process and repeating operation in LED manufacture, to control and promote the process of the HB-LED chip needed rich experience about it. The rate of the better products most decided by the operator' s experience and the reasonable of process. This thesis based on the analysis of LED, constructed a prototype system which have a KB and a process case basic of manufacture process of the HB-LED. The system can realize thecase reasoning of LED. All this can increase the rate of the best products, enhance the manufacture level of HB-LED chip.2) Through analyzed the basic principles and realize methods of intelligent design, a system structure of HB-LED chip have been proposed. This thesis analyzed the methods of KA and knowledge representation, studied about how to construct a KB of HB-LED chip and using intelligent reasoning theory in realistic manufacture. It proposed that how to construct the system of intelligent design for the manufacture process of the HB-LED chip and what the developing flow of it.3) It researched the detail realize methods of this system and the course of how to develop the KB of HB-LED chip. It will be used the manual methods to realize the KA, and used the Mixing Knowledge Representation to represent the process knowledge, which method compose process rule, framework and object-oriented. This thesis will have done a detail discussion to how to realize all the methods.4) It did the research work for reasoning strategy and realizable methods of this intelligent system. How to construct the Case Base of HB-LED chip's process will be detail discussed in the thesis. Further more, it also did the analyzed for the case searching strategy and the matching arithmetic, and studied how to work of the Case Base.5) Based on the analysis and research work about the intelligent design technology and the process of HB-LED chip, a prototype system about the intelligent design for the manufacturing process of the HB-LED chip have been developed. This prototype system will offer the functions for user such as searching for the parameter and rule of manufacturing process, query the manufacturing process case and reasoning for a best process case. The function of this system will be introduced by this thesis.
