Application Of PROFIBUS Field Bus In Color Coat Production Line

With the fast development of chian's economy and the increment of requirement of steel, it gives a good opportunity for the development of steel, such as galvanization, color coat and special steel in the industry of auto mobile and so on. At present, although there is an elementary development in color coat steel of our country, most of color coat steel lines are in middle or low levels.We need to study and develop new products, new techniques and new technics on the basis of saving resources, energy and sustainarable development. The development of computer science, network, field bus and auto control technology provides technique guarantee for high quality of products.The application of PROFIBUS in color coat production line is introduced in the paper. First, the general situation and the direction of development in field bus is presented, then the field bus is deeply researched and author analyzed its characteristics and the role of PROFIBUS in automation system. After that the paper introduces the basic color coat technology and gives the general electric design scheme, including electric drive systeme, base automation design project and field bus project based on PROFIBUS. Third, the process control is analyzed and designed in detail, including the speed and tension reference principles, tension control means of unwinder and winder. Indirect tension control means are adopted to the unwinder and winder according to the control requirement. The system uses fuzzy control on the basis of self-adjustent to solve the problem of synchronization of motors. At last theories and means of the looper control are introduced.
