With the popularization of remote education of China, more and more satellitedata receive equipments were required and the market need a low cost satellite datareceive card. IP Over DVB (IPoD) System was brought forward under thisbackground. It's a satellite data receive system with single chip. In order to keephigh efficiency during the development of IPOD, the thesis proposed asoftware-hardware co-design platform. After the development of IPOD the thesischange this software-hardware co-design platform to a product.This software-hardware co-design platform is made up of three parts: hardware,driver and application. We use PowerPcb program to design hardware and finishedthe design of power supply network, power feedback network of the TUNER module,configure network of FPGA, PCI circuit and test network. Finally we evaluated theperformance platform and compare with other. Driver and application are alldeveloped with Visual C++. This thesis analyzes the hierarchy of the system andfunction and discusses the work flow of the NIC. The thesis also dissertate thecommunication between the driver and the application. Finally we dissertate theimplementation of this software-hardware co-design system.During the design of the product, we focus on high-speed PCB design and PCBboundary scan. The work of high-speed PCB design can ensure the stability ofproduct. We also discuss the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and signalintegrality. The PCB boundary scan technology can supply a convenient function inquality control during production.This thesis attempt to use EP1C3 to take the place of EP1C6. We analyzes thecompatibility between the 5V PCI bus and 3.3V I/O, discusses the work principle ofclamp diode point out the different of high-speed diode and common diode.The software-hardware co-design platform has been successfully used in thedevelopment of IPOD, and the product base on this software-hardware co-designplatform has been finalize the design.
