Automatic Patch clamp system is an important breakthrough in the field of cell electorphysiological research. it allows measurement of cell electorphysiological signals become possible, Therefore, we can use computer technology to study the physiological process of cell.the traditional patch clamp system can not meet the increasing needs of users, To develop a new generation of patch clamp equipment based on embedded technology is the mainstream of development direction.In order to improve the traditional program, we use the new embedded processor to replace the PC processor, This method can effectively solve the performance, integration and power consumption issues,Embedded linux system than windows system more efficient,safer, and can improve system performance notability。This article describes the development of Patch clamp technologies at home and abroad, We propose a new system design According to the design requirements of a new generation of the Patch clamp system, we Introduced to the core processor S3C2440 embedded system hardware, and the design of the external ports. Focuses on the hardware design of data acquisition card, But also of the whole system of PCB design, For part of the project for improvement expressed their views and comments at last.
