More and more mobile telephone and other wireless device take part in our work and our life. At the same time, it is imperative that mobile telephone and other wireless link with the network. J2ME is a prevalent technology and an important infrastructure development platform of wireless applications. Various Java techniques can be implemented and complex functions can be achieved on mobile devices based on J2ME. There are many disadvantages in the software of conventional mobile telephone. On the other hand, the advantage of Java technology in wireless network service is very obvious.Come with the powerful cell phone, the development trend of the entertainment market based on the cell phone is very obvious. The entertainment market based on the cell phone will follow the PC entertainment market to be the new important business increase point. According to the analysis of the current cell phone entertainment market, its development trend and other cell phone application, the author accumulated a lot of knowledge and experience. This article is an introduction of a cell phone entertainment client system that the author joined to develop using the accumulated knowledge and experience. This article will focus on the following points:1. The key technology of the cell phone application development- the function and architecture of J2ME, the mainstream operating system platforms and how they support J2ME.2.
