With the advancement of the science, and the development of electronics technology, sensor technology and computer technology, and people to the requirements of the car function are higher, on modern car there are more and more equip with electric appliances and electronics equipments, sensor, computer control unit. It is necessary for varies of control systems to exchange the signals in the real-time. The traditional harnesses can not satisfy this information transmission quest, so people turn to the vehicle LAN.In this paper, the developing history, function and topological structure of automotive network control technology is discussed, the automotive network standard emphasizing particularly on different functions systematically is analyzed and the different main protocols is discussed.The protocol of CAN Bus network with high performance and low cost is adopted in the system. The basic topology and theory of the vehicle body control system based on the CAN Bus is introduced. The paper analyses and discusses the issues of hardware configuration, parameter optimization, controlling methodology, and software implementing. Then, the CAN Bus based vehicle body control system has been designed successfully. Every intelligent node in the system can exchange data with the network, at the same time, more functions of automatic detection and protecting are provided, and its flexible design also adapts to more applications. A vehicle body equipments control with intelligence and network is achieved.In this paper, LIN protocol is also analyzed, the practical method of how to use this protocol in ordinary SCM(Single Chip Micyoco) is studied and researched, that is, how to achieve the LIN main node and appurtenant node with the help of SCM's limited hardware resources, based on the analysis of LIN protocol.In the body of control system design, we must first and foremost from the security perspective, the key part of a CAN Bus control, and for those who have nothing to do with security modules can be used for cost considerations LIN bus control. Thus, CAN network and LIN networks constitute the car communication network. The CAN/LIN data exchange gateway is designed for the full sharing of data from the network.
