The Development Of Engineering Graphics Library Integrated Management System Based On Workflows

Analyzing the present conditions of the home market, the following problemsare commonly found in the software products provided by domestic manufacturers.Applicability to various industries is emphasized, while the base of softwaredevelopment, that is, the requirements of the users are neglected. Independence ofgraphics library management is emphasized, while the accuracy, instantaneousnessand integrity of the data are greatly reduced. Management of electronic graphicslibrary is emphasized, while the fact that in most domestic design institutes,graphics library management is based on basic graphics and documents, and inbasic graphics libraries and commercial graphics libraries, software is managedseparately. The problems mentioned above can all be categorized as theunderstanding of the requirements which is the key of successful softwaredevelopment. Conceptual data model directly shows people's understanding of therequirements of the system, and the results of the requirements understandingshould be shared. This paper mainly includes:A brief data model of engineering graphics library management system basedon workflows is put forward.Basing on the study of conceptual data model of engineering graphics librarymanagement system, a further discussion is made on the realization of system dataorganization, storage structure and access mode of engineering graphics librarymanagement system.The graphics library storage analysis model which plays an important part intypical business structures related to drawings and documents in a design institute isintroduced.Methods eliminating the non matching impedance by mapping objects torelation-based database using object-oriented design method through persistencelayer are discussed in this paper. Finally, realization of the object-oriented databasedesign model in engineering graphics library management system is introducedbriefly.
