| The popularization of the Internet and the fast development of Web technologyhave significant impact on traditional MISs.Currently digital periodical is one of hot areas of computer applications;digitalperiodical on network based is more attractive.This paper introduced on-line science magazine of Ministry of Education whichis a three layers Web database system based. The goal of this project is to provide aplatform for paper release and intercommunication, improving the efficiency ofinformation exchange so that the capabilities of research of the nation can beenhanced.The main work of this paper includes:1,Give the several basic technologies of Web database a completed review,comparison and summarization. Detailed introduction and analysis about theiradvantages and disadvantages. Therefore, useful and practical computer structurewas proposed for the project.2,OOAD technology was used to design the Web database system. IBM RationalRose 2002 produce was used to analysis the use-cases.3,During the coding stage, we strictly followed three levels architecture, andused the OOP technology, which efficiently improved the flexibility andmaintainability of the program. Hopefully this paper will be a useful reference forother similar web database development projects. |
