The objects of unit's coordinated control system (CCS) are boiler, turbine andgenerator, it is a typical MIMO thermal object with large delay, parameters time varying,nonlinear, strong coupling and difficult matching. Relatively, the main paradox isbetween the stability of the pressure before turbine and the suitability of the load.According to the dynamic characteristics of the turbine and boiler's control loop, CCSmainly based on the boiler-follow-turbine is introduced. This method fully uses unit'senergy storage, there are a quick response for load and a strong ability of frequencymodulation. But the pressure fluctuates largely, the practical unit runs unstable. To solvethis problem, CCS is one-way decoupled;according to the large delay of boiler, NN IMCis used to control the boiler side;according to the rapid of turbine, PID is used to controlthe turbine side. The simulation results show that the introduced method can insure thepressure before turbine to stable and good tracking ability for load, the unit also is stable,anti-disturbing and robust.
