Research And Implementation Of Tool Set For Supporting CPPA Specification In EbXML

Along with the violent development of network technology, people's hope to do e-business on Internet instead of EDI network becomes more and more high. In such background, UN/GEFACT and OASIS mapped out ebXML (electronic business XML) to support e-business based on Internet.CPPA (Collaboration Protocol Profile and Agreement) specification is a vital element in ebXML, it is used to define the format and content of CPP and CPA document. CPP document is used to describe the e-business capabilities that a trading partner supports as well as the service interface requirements that need to be met in order to exchange e-business documents with trading partner. And CPA document is used to represents the intersection of two CPPs and is mutually agreed upon by both trading partner who wish to conduct e-business using ebXML. CPP and CPA document are necessary in doing e-business based on ebXML.But, because of complex structure and long content of CPP and CPA documents, it is very hard for people to write them totally by hand. And what's more, composition of CPA draft from two CPPs, can be time wasting and easily to violate mistakes. So the research and implementation of CPP creation and CPA composition tool are very necessary.This paper will focus on the research of CPP creation and CPA composition tool. Main achievements are as follows:1. Analyzing the structure of CPP document and it's relationship with business process document in-depth, classifying the element and attribute in CPP document base on it's characters, and proposing a new method to crate CPP document.2. Analyzing the structure of CPA document and the relationship ofelements and attributes in two CPPs when they composite to be a CPA draft. Proposing a new extendable CPA composition method.3. Implementing CPP creation and CPA composition tools using microsoft's MSXML and Visual C++ developer platform.4. Enclosing the two core functions described above, implementing relative functions, and integrating them into a fully tool to support CPPA specification. At last, applying the CPPA tool to projects.
