Research & Development Of FF H1 System Management And Network Management Protocol Software

Fieldbus is the trend of automatic control. Among all of fieldbuses, Foundation Fieldbus is one of the most advanced ones.FF H1 standard is the study object in this dissertation. Keeping on with our project developing, there are two very important parts (System Management and Network Management) of its user layer to which we paid much attention, especially to its designning and developing and testing. This project provides essential foundation for the subsequent development.There are seven chapters in this dissertation. In chapter 2, this dissertation firstly introduces the system architecture of H1 protocol standard and reference model, and then it briefly describes each layer. Secondly this dissertation introduces the frame of the user layer and presents its four parts in detail including System Management, Network Management, Function Block Application, and Device Description. The most important parts of this dissertation are chapter 4 and 5 and 6. Chaper 4 focuses on System management. It depicts SMK communication mechanism, detail design, development and testing, and the implementation of some difficult modules is elaborated, such as the 3 types of timers, application clock and function block schedule. Chaper 5 focuses on the Network Management. It describes communication mechanism, design, development and testing, especially how to build the Object Dictionary (OD) and how to access the OD easily. In chapter 6, this dissertation firstly gives the meaning to test the demo protocol stack software and the four parts it includes and then points out the necessary of CTS (Conformance Test System), and then introduces the CTS in detail including its basic knowledge, how to use the testing platform for the Basic Device and the CTS testing report of System Management and Network Management with 155 test cases in all. Through the test, we could know whether the software we developed is following the FF H1 protocol and available. Finally in chapter 7, this dissertation summarizes all the previous work and gives some advices for subsequent work.
