Design And Implementation Of Unicast/Multicast Protocol Conformance Test For A New Network Architecture

With the growing scale of Internet users and the sustainable development of the diversity of access devices, the demands of terminal users for mobility, security and multi-service support of Internet are increasing. Because the Internet that is based on the TCP/IP architecture has been difficult to meet the above-mentioned demands, it is necessary for people to carry out the research work of new generation Internet. To meet the above urgent demand, the new network architecture which is a new network protocol architecture is put forward. And the new network architecture also has independent property right in our country. In this architecture, the unicast identify communication protocol and the multicast identifier communication protocol are all the basic protocol standards, and they are the main references and bases for other protocols. As new network protocols, the research work about conformance test of unicast identifier/multicast identifier communication protocol in the new network architecture isn’t carried out at home and abroad. And, protocol conformance test is an important way to ensure that the implementation of protocol conforms to the content of protocol, so the protocol conformance test has great significance for the development, progress and promotion of the new network architecture. Therefore, developing the conformance test of unicast identifier/multicast identifier communication protocol for the new network architecture is necessary, which is the significance of this paper.On the basis of the unicast identifier communication protocol standard, the multicast identifier communication protocol standard and the theory of protocol conformance test, this paper will design and implement the conformance test set of unicast identifier/multicast identifier communication protocol, research and develop the suitable conformance test system, and complete the conformance test of unicast identifier/multicast identifier communication protocol.This paper firstly analyses the research background, introduces the protocol research actuality of unicast communication and multicast communication, and expounds the research production of conformance test at home and abroad. Then this paper deeply researches the content and technology of unicast identify communication protocol and multicast identifier communication protocol. And combining the research contents of protocol conformance test, this paper designs and put forward the conformance test process of unicast identifier/multicast identifier communication protocol. On this basis, this paper expounds the design and implementation of unicast identifier/multicast identifier communication protocol conformance test set according to the organizational structure and design method of conformance test set, and describes the conformance test set by text description way and formalization description way. According to the conformance test set and the demand of test, this paper designs and implements unicast identifier/multicast identifier communication protocol conformance test system, and respectively illustrates the function design, the principle of code implementation and the technological difficulties in the process of development for the test system’s five modules:test control module, test case management module, test case interpretation module, test execution module and test result generation module. At last, this paper verifies the availability and correctness of the test set which is designed and implemented by this paper, and the conformance test function of the test system through the detection and experiment of unicast identifier/multicast identifier communication protocol conformance test.The conformance test set and the test system of unicast identifier/multicast identifier communication protocol in the new network architecture, which are designed and implemented by this paper, effectively improve the interconnectivity and interoperability between different technological implementation of the two protocols. And the conformance test set and the test system have strong reconfigurable and scalable characteristics, which establish a good foundation for the popularization and application of the new network architecture.
