The DVB –T mobile receive system is based on the technology of Set-Top Box. But its architecture is more sample, so it can save much more cost than STB. The DVB –T mobile receive system includes three main modules: the TUNER module, the FPGA module and the USB 2.0 interface module. The TUNER module is controlled by the MCU through I2C BUS. It can complete the change from the RF signals to TS codes through a series of DSP process. The main function of FPGA is a TS demultiplexer. The FPGA includes TS receiver module, Buffer module, TS demultiplexer module and interface module with USB2.0 chip. The USB2.0 chip in this system is EZ -USB FX2 from Cypress Ltd., which includes the USB2.0 communication module and the MCU in one chip. We can transmit data from the DVB –T mobile receive system to the notebook PC through the USB2.0 high speed interface, then the software in PC complete the MPEG-2 TS decode process. And finally, we can see the DVB program. The thesis do not describe only the receive system but also the usage of FPGA and the architecture of TS code flows. Because the architecture of TS code flows have strong relationship with the design method of demultiplexer. The thesis also affords the structure details of the PAT and PMT and mentions the characteristic of USB2. 0 bus protocol.
