With the development of telecommunication and computer technology, the limit of the network's transmission, commutation and cutover was more indefinite than ever. The larger the scale of the network, the more sophisticated the structure. At the same time, the application of the Information technology has the intense change; it has brought up the higher request to the networks. Facing the huge network and the sophisticated net equipments, the level of the Network Management must be enhanced. The traditional centralized network management can not adapt the requirement of network development, the Net need a distributed integral Network Management System (NMS) with the powerful function and simple operation, through a workstation, NMS could manage and control the Network Elements (NE) that were distributed all over the world. The thesis is according to the development of the high requirement and the new technology of the NMS, put forward and designs a model of distributed integration Network Management System, including the fault analysis and fault location, performance synthesis analysis, perfect system configuration, and high precision function of topology; at the same time, the system function is designed as the separated module; it will simplify the system maintenance and hoist the system intelligence. Paper does research the key technique of the distributed NMS: distributivity object technique and CORBA technology, and put forward the overall design model of system based on this investigation, presents the design options of the system frame model, function architecture, summary skeleton and the detail structures, and discusses the some modules detailedly. CORBA interface that is the key part of the distributed structure is designed, and expatiated on the communication mode and flow, including the system structure and communication interface of the Client and Server. At the end of the paper, system demo is tested and the development orientation of this system is brought out.
